Sleep Talker

from Castle Ghosts by Aches

/

lyrics

The presence on the hill shakes me, uncomfortable left cold.
He comes to wake me a cold nose breath steaming up the windows.
The bendy red wall stood outside should protect me.
A brick or two missing its still solid as oak.
A train passes by under us, strangely familiar you say.
Gliding silently to the distance beyond the green leaves, day emerging.
I ask her what do you see now?
A forest of meaningless messages and I cannot respond.
And we all want to chop these trees down with our hands but we crash.
And loosen our bonds.
